Destination Turks & Caicos Islands

Hidden coves, stunning seascapes and a rich heritage; researching and writing about the beautiful Turks and Caicos Islands has been a exciting, challenging experience.

One of the trickiest elements of this project has been determining fact from fiction. The Turks and Caicos Islands have a strong tradition of oral history, passing stories and legends from one generation to another. As a result, written documentation is not readily available for this enchanting and relatively untouched part of the Caribbean, but this made the challenge of writing about this unique part of the world all the more enjoyable.
